Location
Alexandros Bourdakis' house is in the eastern part of the bay of Rethymnon, by the country road to the village of Pighi, some 400 meters above the Old National Road which runs from  Pighianos Campos to Adelianos Campos.
From the veranda one can enjoy beautiful views of the fields and gardens of Pighianos Campos, and of the Aegean Sea.
The town center of Rethymnon is 11 kms west.

The nearest bus stop is by the Old National Road. Hourly suburban busses connect to Iraklion and Rethymnon, and on to Hania. During the tourism season there are busses to the city every 30 minutes.
Iraklion airport is 82 kms away, Hania airport 72 kms. With respect to the National Road's winding character, transfer durations from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
